Asiago Stuffed Turkey Cradled in a Quick Dressing and topped with my Roasted Jalepeno Chilled Cream sauce 

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends but sometimes I am alone so this is what I did…

Serves 3 

Ingredients :

1 pk uncooked turkey steaks (3pk)

1/2 cu white dry wine 

1/2 cu Italian flat parsley chopped

1 tomato diced

1 piece of celery diced

1 large green onion

Asiago cheese

1 cup melba crackers crushed

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Jalapeño cream sauce:

1 yogurt unsweetened plain

2 jalapeños 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°

In mixing bowl place your tomato diced, 1 piece celery diced, 1 large green onion diced. Mix well and add diced parsley.

In small baking pan place your steak and stuff with your Asiago cheese and top with the veggie medley and roll.

Do with all three the same way.

Add wine to the pan.

At about 20 minutes add 1 1/2 cu water to dish. 

Cook times vary a bit depending on altitude, ovens, turkey weight, etc. So keep an eye on it.

It took mine about 45 minutes.

In your pan dump your crushed melba crackers over the broth and juices spreading them out to cover pan.

Season with your salt, pepper, and paprika. 

Bake 15 minutes at 375°.

Roasted Jalapeño Cream Sauce:

In oven roast 2 jalapeños 

Once soft and a little dark in areas remove and place in blender with yogurt. 

Liquify 

Can be used as dip with tortilla chips.

Use chilled.
